Today I’m making a simple grilled cheese sandwich with Pepperidge Farm Farmhouse Brioche bread, Land O’Lakes deli sliced American cheese, and melted butter. Simple ingredients, a small batch, and another easy way to get comfortable using a new air fryer. Day 3: Air Fryer Grilled Cheese 2 Slices of. Pepperidge Farm Farmhouse Brioche 3 slices of Land O’Lakes deli sliced American Cheese, cut to fit for 2 layers of cheese 2 teaspoons of melted unsalted butter Brush one side of the bread with melted butter. Invert on a surface and fit 2 layers of American cheese on top. Place the second piece of bread on top and brush with melted butter. Place 2 toothpicks diagonally in the sandwich to minimize the bread flying off when put in the air fryer. Air fry the first side at 375°F until golden brown. It took almost 9 minutes to achieve the desired color. Remove the toothpicks and flip the sandwich. Air fry at 400°F for an additional 3 minutes.
